In Episode 16 of the Skiing is Believing podcast, brought to you by Ski Racing Media, Alan and Matt had a great conversation with French speed specialist Blaise Giezendanner.

Blaise told Matt and Alan about his upbringing in the French Alps. Additionally, in the 2023/24 season, he was the only Kandahar racer (name of a ski club in Chamonix) on the World Cup circuit.

He shared with them some terrific experiences from his World Cup podium in Kitzbuehel in 2022 and his achievement of going from Bib 43 to 4th place on his Olympic debut in the 2018 Pyeongchang Super-G.

They also discussed what it has been like working with Cyprien Sarrazin in his sensational season, along with his mannerisms and raw nature every time he took to the slopes.

Furthermore, he explained about the opportunity he declined to race for Great Britain when he was a teenager. Learn about that, amongst many more things, in this fantastic conversation.
