Swiss ski brand strengthens commitment to World Cup racing and youth development ahead of home World Championships

CRANS-MONTANA, Switzerland — Stöckli has been named the Official Ski Partner of the 2027 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, marking a major milestone for the Swiss manufacturer as it deepens its investment in both elite alpine skiing and the next generation of athletes.

As the only Swiss ski brand competing on the Alpine World Cup circuit, Stöckli continues to play a prominent role in international ski racing. The brand is represented by top athletes including Marco Odermatt, Alexis Monney, and Thomas Tumler, reinforcing its reputation at the highest level of the sport.

The partnership with Swiss-Ski and the Crans-Montana 2027 organizing committee follows a formal selection process, with Stöckli chosen for its combination of technical expertise, Swiss heritage, and long-term vision for the sport.

A key initiative within the partnership is the launch of a limited-edition World Championships ski, with CHF 400 from each pair sold going directly to Swiss-Ski to support youth development programs.

“Hosting a home World Championships with a Swiss ski brand as an official partner is something very special,” said Marc Gläser, CEO of Stöckli Swiss Sports AG. “This collaboration reflects our roots, our values, and our commitment to the future of skiing in Switzerland.”

Investment in the Future of Alpine Ski Racing

Beyond the World Cup, Stöckli has built a strong reputation for supporting grassroots skiing. The company is a long-time partner of the Grand Prix Migros, the largest youth ski race series in the world, helping introduce young athletes to competitive alpine skiing.

Swiss-Ski emphasized the broader importance of the partnership ahead of the 2027 championships.

“This collaboration goes far beyond a traditional sponsorship,” said Daniel Bollinger, Head of World Championships at Swiss-Ski and COO for Crans-Montana 2027. “Stöckli’s commitment to both World Cup success and youth development aligns perfectly with our long-term strategy and sends a strong signal for the future of Swiss skiing.”
