ARE, Sweden — A World Cup men's super combined event has been added to next month's schedule in Kvitfjell, Norway. Organizers made the announcement Tuesday during a press conference at the World Championships.
The resort will host the extra race on March 9, followed by a downhill and a super G over the next two days.
The super combined replaces the event called off last month because of bad weather in the French resort of Val d'Isere.
Kvitfjell is the last stop on the World Cup circuit before the March 14-18 Finals in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. The men's circuit resumes after the World Championships on Feb. 24 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.
