GB Snowsport has appointed former Stifel U.S. Men’s Alpine Ski Team head coach Mark Tilston as Alpine Director in a newly created senior consultancy role ahead of the 2026-27 season. The experienced international coach returns to British skiing after leadership roles with Britain, Spain, Alpine Canada, Apex2100, and the United States.

Dave Ryding closed his Olympic career with a 17th-place finish in what may also mark his final elite race. Sixteen years after his Olympic debut, Britain’s slalom pioneer leaves behind more than results — he leaves belief, legacy and a reshaped future for British skiing.

The North American (NorAm) Cup series continued into its final regular season races. The women competed in two days of slalom at Devils Glen, Ontario, and transitioned to two days of giant slalom at Georgian Peaks, Ontario. 

Dave Ryding, is striving to climb to the top of podiums this season. His main goal is to become the oldest ski racer to podium in a World Cup slalom.
