Sofia Goggia claimed her eighth World Cup super-G victory in Val d’Isère as Lindsey Vonn returned to the podium in third. Alice Robinson finished second and retained the season discipline lead.
Federica Brignone thrilled the home crowd in La Thuile, winning the final regular-season super G by just 0.01 seconds over Sofia Goggia. The victory marked Brignone’s third super G win of the season and her tenth across all disciplines, giving her a five-point lead over Lara Gut-Behrami in the race for the Crystal Globe. Romane Miradoli completed the podium in third, while yesterday’s winner, Emma Aicher, skied out after a blistering start. With the World Cup Finals in Sun Valley up next, the battle for the super G title remains wide open.
