Colorado captured the Utah Invitational team title while Denver’s Sara Rask set a school record with her 19th career victory in a dramatic three-day alpine series at Utah Olympic Park.

The University of Utah Ski Team has unveiled its 2026 RMISA schedule, featuring five home race days and a balanced mix of Nordic and Alpine competitions. The Utes, winners of four of the last five NCAA titles, will aim to defend their national championship when the season culminates in Bozeman, Montana.

The alpine racers moved back onto the Dartmouth Skiway for the giant slalom portion of the NCAA National Championships. Sara Rask of the University of Denver earns back-to-back wins and Johs B Herland achieves victory for University of Utah.

The Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association (RMISA) headed into the final two days of regular season racing, battling for top spots in slalom. February 21st was the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) Invitational, and the series concluded with the 76th Annual RMISA Championships on the 22nd.

RMISA competed GS in University of Alaska Anchorage Invitational and RMISA Champs. Magdalena Luczak was the standout performance of the two days, achieving back-to-back victories. Her teammates, Jacob Dilling and Louis Gistav Fausa, also secured individual wins. 

The alpine portion of the RMISA Qualifier and Utah Invitational took place last weekend at the Utah Olympic Park in Park City, Utah. Five different athletes achieved victory and other milestones were achieved. Read more.

The RMISA alpine ski racing competitions resumed for the Montana State University Invitational at Bridger Bowl, Montana. Four different winners emerged from the giant slalom and slalom races.

The second NorAm event of the 2025 season took place on two different hills in Alberta, Canada, this past week. The elite athletes competed in both giant slalom and slalom on Mt. Norquay Ski Resort and Lake Louise. 

Mikkel Solbakken of the Utah Ski Team has been named National Men's Alpine Skier of the Year, as announced Friday by the United States Collegiate Ski Coaches Association.
