A New, Easy Way to Protect Ski Bases

Toko’s All-in-One Wipe & Brush introduces a simple, heat-free way for racers to protect their bases after a training session or race. The product was developed for athletes who want quick coverage, reliable protection, and minimal equipment.

More Than a Quick Wax

This is not a basic liquid or spray wax. The All-in-One formula is thicker and more durable, offering longer protection on snow and stronger performance as a travel or storage wax.

How to Apply

Racers apply the product using a cloth or Base Tex. Add the wax to the Base Tex, wipe a thin, uniform layer onto the ski, and let it dry. When you’re ready to ski again, skip the scraping. Simply brush the base with a copper or combi brush and go.

This also makes the All-in-One Wipe a& Brush ideal for zeroing skis, which means preparing several pairs so they start from the same baseline for comparison—an approach borrowed from wax testing, where all skis carry the same wax to “zero out” glide differences. Racers can apply the paste, travel with it, and then brush it off before training the day before an event to assess which pair runs best. This is a technique employed to determine which skis to use on race day.

Two Options Available

The All-in-One Wipe and Brush comes either as a complete kit or as a standalone bottle. Toko also produces a new high-performance version for World Cup service teams—a faster, more specialized product designed for elite racing.

Hot Wax Still Matters

Even with new tools like this, periodic hot waxing is still essential for long-term base health. Sintered bases are designed to respond to heat and wax, allowing technicians to adjust hardness and improve water repellency. The All-in-One Wipe and Brush complements this process, but it doesn’t replace it.
