Top ski brands lead World Cup seasonal rankings
The past World Cup season has been memorable not only for some outstanding competitions, but also for the ski industry brands that have demonstrated their excellence and underscored the substantial support they provide for the FIS disciplines.
The Austrian ski manufacturer Fischer is once again the most successful brand in cross-country skiing. Topping all rankings, including distance and sprint for ladies and men, the global market leader in Nordic skiing has earned the honor for the seventh consecutive year since the standings have been in place. Among the many athletes racing on Fischer equipment are Marit Bjoergen, Therese Johaug, and Dario Cologna.
In the overall rankings Fischer is followed by the French ski and snowboarding brand Rossignol, and the Norwegian ski equipment manufacturer Madshus.
