Speed was the special on the menu Monday at the U.S. Alpine National Championships as the downhill champions were crowned. Postponed from Saturday because of snow and high winds, the downhills went off without a hitch two days later and Stacey Cook and T.J. Lanning topped their respective fields.

Ski Racing and Rival Films present the fifth installment of Daily Diaries from the championships. Tune in to watch America’s best veteran and up-and-coming ski racers compete for the most coveted titles at Sugarloaf. Tech racing again takes center stage on Tuesday with the men’s giant slalom.
