The University of New Hampshire Ski Team is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Alpine Coach, a full-time benefited staff role within the Wildcats’ NCAA Division I ski program.
The position is a 10–12 month appointment and includes a competitive benefits package featuring health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, and tuition coverage for up to five courses per year after six months of employment.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with all aspects of NCAA Division I alpine ski program operations
- Supporting athlete development and performance progression
- Assisting with recruiting and prospective student-athlete outreach
- Managing and maintaining team equipment
- Coordinating team travel logistics and race preparation
- Conducting video analysis and providing athlete feedback
- Setting training and competition courses
- Creating and implementing conditioning and dryland training sessions
- Assisting with scheduling and race entries
- Supporting athlete management and team culture initiatives
- Adhering to all NCAA compliance rules and university policies
- Participating in UNH Athletics staff meetings and department events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Level 100 USSA Coach’s Certification required
- Collegiate ski racing experience preferred
