Due to incoming weather in Val d’Isere, France, the FIS has approved a program change for the men racing slalom and giant slalom Saturday and Sunday over the upcoming weekend. Rather than run the GS first and slalom second, the slalom will take place on Saturday the 14th, and the GS will take place on Sunday the 15th. Official start times have not yet been set as the weather is being monitored.

A program change was also being considered for the women’s super-G and parallel slalom taking place in St. Moritz. After deliberation between FIS and all stakeholders, the program will remain the same. Super-G shall take place on Saturday the 14th, and parallel will take place on Sunday the 15th, although Friday’s scheduled free ski has been canceled.

Snow remains in the forecast in Val d’Isere and St. Moritz for both Friday and Saturday, with temperatures predicted to remain in the low to mid-30s over the course of the race weekend. The FIS and organizing committees will continue to monitor conditions as the weekend approaches.
