Allegheny Conference – Villanova Sweeps, Richert Doubles Up
At Tussey Mountain, Villanova University swept the men’s slalom and GS team titles. Byrne Bradley led the charge with third-place finishes in both races, backed in slalom by John Holmquist (6th) and Charles Hurchalle (8th). Maryland finished second in slalom behind Cameron Opdyke (5th), while West Virginia’s Hunter Walchusky (4th) secured third for his team.
Messiah’s Noah Richert delivered the fastest slalom run of the weekend in 1:07.13 but narrowly missed the team podium. He returned to win the GS, however, lifting Messiah into third overall. Penn State finished second in GS, led by Thomas LaFalce (5th) and Quinn Hughes (8th).
On the women’s side, Penn State dominated both slalom races behind Zoe Parizek, who clocked winning times of 1:18.68 and 1:18.94. West Virginia placed second both days with Molly Burns finishing runner-up twice, while Carnegie Mellon and Maryland traded third-place team finishes.
Atlantic Highlands Conference – Lehigh Controls Hunter Mountain
Lehigh University swept both men’s and women’s GS races at Hunter Mountain.
On Saturday, Aaron Martin (3rd) and Eben Gifford (4th) powered the men to victory, ahead of USMA’s James Lahrman (2nd). Sunday saw Lahrman take the individual win in 51.02 seconds, but Lehigh once again secured the team title with Gifford (2nd), Martin (3rd), and Ian Kenyon (5th). Fairfield climbed onto the podium Sunday.
For the women, Abi Masillo captured both GS victories for Lehigh. Teammate Alyssa Lundberg improved from sixth to fourth over the weekend. USMA’s Paige Barta consistently finished second, while Fairfield and Columbia also found podium success.
Mideast Conference – Patton and McAuley Lead Hobart Sweep
At Bristol Mountain, Hobart & William Smith Colleges dominated both days.
Will Patton won the GS and slalom, leading team victories in each race. In GS, he was joined by Ethan Hine, Luke Ward, and Jake Labanowski, while Sunday’s slalom win included support from Zachary Wargo and Hine.
On the women’s side, Aspen McAuley swept both races. Hobart won the GS, while Colgate claimed the slalom team title behind improvements from Charlotte Morris (2nd) and Carissa Dunlap (4th). Hamilton finished third both days.
Northwest Conference – Movement on the Men’s Side, Consistency for the Women
At Silver Mountain, Montana State claimed Saturday’s men’s GS behind Augustus Dain, while Washington State and the University of Washington rounded out the podium.
Sunday brought a shakeup, as the University of British Columbia surged from fifth to first, led by Lukas Forssander-Song. Oregon State climbed into second, while Washington State secured third.
The women’s results were more consistent. Montana State won both days, led by victories from Sierra Scanlan (Saturday) and Izzy Bielen (Sunday). Oregon finished second both days behind Sage Sappenfield, who placed second in each race, while Washington held steady in third.
Eastern Conference – Farmington and Babson Dominate
In the Reynolds Division at Black Mountain, the University of Maine at Farmington swept the men’s races. Magnus Riggs, Lance Dolan, and Sam Roy stacked the podium across both GS and slalom, pushing the team to commanding wins. St. Joseph’s College of Maine finished second both days, with Logan Davis leading the way, while Bowdoin placed third.
On the women’s side, St. Joseph’s captured both team victories despite individual wins from Maine Farmington’s Rosie St. Cyr. Bowdoin finished third both days.
In the MacConnell Division at West Mountain, Babson College swept the men’s GS races behind two victories from Niko Leunig, supported by Elliot Michael Perretta. Clarkson placed second both days, while Castleton finished third.
Castleton’s women dominated the weekend behind double wins from Eva Young, with teammates filling in tightly behind her. Clarkson was second both days, and Babson claimed bronze each race.
Rocky Mountain Conference – Head-to-Head Intensity and Slalom Showdowns
The Rocky Mountain Conference opened with a parallel slalom showdown. TJ Weaver (Utah) defeated Dylan Thompson (Colorado) in the men’s final, while Colorado swept the women’s podium led by Sydney Kraabel.
Sunday’s slalom saw Colorado’s men secure the team win behind Thompson, Dylan Kelly, and Jasper Schmidt. The Colorado School of Mines placed second.
Colorado’s women also captured the team title Sunday, while Utah took second behind standout runs from Paige Petersen (1st) and Sienna Hendrickson (2nd).
