UVEX SPORTS has added accomplished wax technicians Mike Hay and Eric Larson to the company’s race staff for the 2007-08 season.
Hay previously worked for the U.S. Ski Team and spent the summer running the test center at Mount Hood for Dynastar. Hay, of Hood River, Oregon, will operate in the Pacific Northwest region.
Larson’s sales territory will be New England, where in the past he worked with athletes from Burke Mountain Academy and many more, including Bode Miller.
“I’m very happy to have these guys on board with Uvex and Holmenkol. They bring with them great knowledge of the sport, and they know how to make skis fast,” said Uvex Race Director Jed Rockwell.
The company’s race team also includes nordic director John Dyste and Spike Kullas, who handles Colorado, and and Mike Braun, who’s based in California.
