Val d’Isère Men’s World Cup Slalom Start List and North American Program

The men’s World Cup slalom season remains in Val d’Isère for slalom No. 3, and the start list immediately sets up a fast, high-risk battle on one of the tour’s most demanding technical venues. After Levi and Gurgl, the standings already look sharp, and Sunday’s race brings the sport’s best slalom skiers back onto steep terrain where clean turns, great timing, and dynamic balance decide everything.

Top seven on the start list

The first group off the start includes a stacked mix of proven winners, podium regulars, and skiers already driving the early-season standings.

Rassat, the current standings leader, starts bib 9 and arrives with momentum after his Gurgl win. Braathen starts bib 3 after winning Levi. Marchant, fresh off second in Gurgl, goes bib 17. And Great Britain’s Laurie Taylor, already inside the top 10 in the season standings, starts bib 27.

Stifel U.S. Ski Team: all entered athletes

The Stifel U.S. Ski Team brings six starters to Val d’Isère, led by Ben Ritchie and a deep supporting group gaining valuable Olympic-season experience on a venue that punishes hesitation.

Men’s GS Race

The men’s slalom is set for Sunday, Dec. 14. Run one begins at 3:30 a.m. ET / 12:30 a.m. PT, followed by run two at 7:00 a.m. ET / 4:00 a.m. PT. Fans in Great Britain can tune in at 8:30 for the first run and 12:00 for the second.
