Val Gardena / Gröden Men’s Super-G Start List
Saslong | Friday, December 19
Val Gardena / Gröden rolls directly from Thursday’s sprint downhill into Friday’s men’s super-G, where one run and full commitment will again decide everything on the Saslong.
The start list includes 66 racers from 17 nations, and the early start order stacks several of the discipline’s most important contenders tightly together, setting the tone almost immediately.
Marco Odermatt remains the reference point whenever he enters a super-G. He already owns a win this season and continues to push the limits of what is possible in the discipline. Still, super-G has proven unforgiving. Austria brings depth, Italy carries momentum on home snow, and nothing is guaranteed in a one-run speed race.

Season Leaders: Start Numbers to Watch
These athletes represent the top of the 2025–26 super-G standings and form the competitive spine of Friday’s race.
Norway’s Fredrik Møller is excluded after being injured in Thursday’s sprint downhill, so the next man in the standings moves into the group.

Italy Carries Home-Snow Momentum
Italy again centers its hopes on Dominik Paris (bib 6), who lines up as a significant threat on a course that rewards line, courage, and clean timing.
Beyond Paris, several Italian attackers start early in the order, including Mattia Casse (bib 9) and Guglielmo Bosca (bib 11).
Stifel U.S. Ski Team Entries
The U.S. group is led by Ryan Cochran-Siegle (bib 2), the defending Olympic silver medalist in super-G, who starts early enough to establish a meaningful reference.

Why the Early Start Order Matters
The race ignites immediately. Crawford launches first, Cochran-Siegle follows, and the heart of the contenders stacks tightly with Paris (6), Odermatt (8), Kriechmayr (13), and Haaser (14) starting within a narrow window.
