VIDEO: US Ski Team heli-skis the pow in New Zealand

Call it El Niño, the conditions in the southern hemisphere this year have been supreme. The snow gods paid a visit to New Zealand for both the men and the women of the U.S. Ski Team, giving them the chance for some powder days and heli-skiing adventures (thanks to trustees Steven Reid, Eric Resnick and more for making this adventure possible). The Speed Unicorns – Laurenne Ross, Alice McKennis and Jackie Wiles – traveled to Mt. Cook for a shred session featuring faceshots galore, while the American Downhillers – Marco Sullivan, Steven Nyman, Andrew Weibrecht and Travis Ganong –enjoyed some freshies at Mt. Aspiring.
