Val d’Isère women’s super-G start list: one run, full commitment on Oreiller-Killy

Val d’Isère wraps up the weekend with women’s super-G, following Saturday’s downhill and returning to a discipline where one run decides everything. On the Oreiller-Killy course, hesitation is punished immediately. Rhythm and timing matter early, and confidence often builds—or collapses—within the opening sectors.

One run decides everything

Super-G rewards athletes who commit from the first gate and stay connected through Val d’Isère’s demanding terrain. The start list loads key contenders early, increasing the likelihood that the benchmark is set quickly if conditions remain stable.

Key early bibs

  • Bib 1 — Keely Cashman (USA) (1999) — HEAD
  • Bib 6 — Sofia Goggia (ITA) (1992) — Atomic
  • Bib 7 — Alice Robinson (NZL) (2001)
  • Bib 12 — Cornelia Hütter (AUT) (1992) — HEAD
  • Bib 13 — Lindsey Vonn (USA) (1984) — HEAD
  • Bib 14 — Emma Aicher (GER) (2003) — HEAD
  • Bib 15 — Romane Miradoli (FRA) (1994)

With that group stacked tightly, pressure builds immediately on anyone starting behind them.

Olympic-season intensity

This is an Olympic season, and every super-G carries extra weight. The stars chase seeding and momentum. Others fight for points and starts. Oreiller-Killy never rewards conservative skiing, and small timing errors often multiply as the course unfolds.
