“When everyone is trying to tell you to slow down, move faster.” That is the motto of 2017 World Cup overall winner Mikaela Shiffrin. Most athletes share the same spirit in the summer and work hard on improving their physical fitness in preparation for a long and intense winter of racing.

In addition to traditional strength training, the national teams try to diversify workouts, testing out other activities to challenge them. Their diverse training might inspire your weekend plans.
