Women’s Giant Slalom: Robinson–Scheib Rivalry Dominates the Pre-Olympic Stage in Semmering | Start List & Program

The women’s World Cup giant slalom resumes Saturday in Semmering, Austria, opening the post-Christmas stretch of an Olympic season that is already taking clear shape.

Through four of nine giant slalom races, the discipline has centered on a true head-to-head battle. Alice Robinson and Julia Scheib have matched each other win for win and podium for podium, raising the performance standard while separating themselves from the rest of the field.

With only three giant slaloms remaining before the women arrive in Cortina d’Ampezzo, the margins are tightening fast. Seeding, qualification, and Olympic positioning now hinge on every run.
