Dual Slalom Races Kick Off the Season

The World Pro Ski Tour (WPST) will launch its 2025 season at Aspen Mountain on Friday, Jan. 10, with an action-packed weekend of professional dual slalom races. The Little Nell run will host two men’s and two women’s events, featuring top athletes from around the globe in head-to-head competition.

Athletes Bring World-Class Talent

Elite skiers will showcase their skills in a bracket-style, single-elimination format that combines speed and precision. “We’re excited to return to Aspen Mountain to kick off the 2025 WPST season,” said Christopher Neary, chairman of the WPST. The event highlights the intensity and excitement of professional ski racing in one of the sport’s most iconic locations.

Full Weekend of Competition

The weekend begins with athlete registration on Jan. 9, followed by qualifiers on Jan. 10. Dual slalom races take place on Jan. 11 and 12, offering a thrilling spectacle for fans. The WPST ensures an engaging experience with on-site activities and opportunities to interact with the ski racing community.

  • January 9: Athlete Registration, 3 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • January 10: Pro Qualifiers (Men & Women), 12 p.m.
  • January 11: Colorado Pro Open, 11 a.m.
  • January 12: Aspen Pro Open, 11 a.m.
