Courchevel, FRA — The men’s World Cup Super-G scheduled for March 14 on the Éclipse course in Courchevel has been cancelled following heavy snowfall.
Race organizers confirmed the decision after the venue received 48 centimeters of snow throughout the day, making it impossible to prepare the course in time for competition.
Organizers are hopeful another Super-G will be held tomorrow, with a provisional start time of 10:45 a.m. local time (5:45 a.m. EST).
Further updates will follow if the FIS confirms any additional changes to the World Cup calendar.
