Alpine Racing Collective (ARC): Redefining Youth Alpine Development: Park City, UT
Alpine Racing Collective (ARC) is an independent youth ski racing program in Park City, Utah, serving athletes from U8 through U14. ARC is committed to developing competitive ski racers through an athlete-centric approach that emphasizes both athletic excellence and personal growth.
Led by founder Chris Probert and Program Director Cody Marshall, a former U.S. Ski Team athlete and World Cup slalom racer, ARC combines high-performance training with a culture built on character, integrity, and teamwork. Their shared vision is to create a program that challenges athletes to reach their full potential, both as ski racers and as individuals.
What sets ARC apart is its culture and athlete-centric approach to coaching. Coaches take the time to understand each athlete as an individual: their strengths, their challenges, and what they need to succeed both on and off the mountain. With a 6:1 athlete-to-coach ratio, ARC provides personalized coaching that emphasizes long-term progression, technical development, and building confidence.
ARC holds its coaches to the same standards of growth and development that it expects from its athletes. Through ongoing education and professional development, the program builds a unified coaching approach with consistent technical and tactical standards across all age groups. Just as importantly, ARC prioritizes coaches who demonstrate character, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the supportive, family-centered culture that defines the program.
ARC wants its athletes to become successful ski racers. It also wants them to carry the lessons they learn through sport into the rest of their lives, so it emphasizes character, resilience, integrity and teamwork alongside athletic excellence.
Through the ARC Community Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing financial barriers in youth ski racing, ARC provides financial assistance to athletes and families in need.
At ARC, the goal isn’t just to build skiers. It’s to build people.
