On Tuesday, Keely Cashman announced via Instagram that she will sit out the upcoming speed races in St. Anton.

Cashman has proved to be a strong force on the speed circuit, recently earning her first top 10 World Cup finish in the Val d’Isere super G last month. In an Instagram post, Cashman said a recent crash in training will force her to miss the upcoming races in St. Anton.

A formal injury update was left out of the post, however Cashman shared she is for the most part feeling good and will share additional information when available.

“Sad to say that I took a bit of a spill in training the other day and will have to sit out the upcoming races in St. Anton, Austria. I’m feeling good for the most part and will update when I have more info. In other news I cannot wait to cheer on my teammates this week,” she said.
