Gould Alpine U12/14 Fundamentals Camp
Location: Les Deux Alpes, France
Dates: June 20–July 1, 2026 (8 Days)
Cost: $3,000
Coaching Staff: Michael Hirschbuhl- Lead coach and Head U14 Coach , Janel Redman- Head U12 Coach
Our June on-snow camp will have a heavy emphasis on building fundamental skills and movement patterns – the foundations of high-level skiing and fast racing. The timing of this camp offers the best opportunity to introduce, develop, and perfect skills and movements without the pressure of race season. Additionally, this camp provides an opportunity to gain mileage on new equipment for athletes moving up in size or switching manufacturers.
During our eight days on snow, we will dedicate time to the following: freeskiing (both directed and undirected), drills, drill courses, traditional SL and GS sets, and daily video analysis. Afternoons will feature dryland activities such as hiking, agility, field sports, swimming, and more.
We will stay in the Les Deux Alpes village within walking distance to all amenities, including lift access. Our lift tickets give us access to a variety of afternoon activities around the village. Les Deux Alpes is located in the heart of the French Alps and boasts the world’s largest skiable glacier. 84 training lanes, 14 summer lifts, a vibrant European youth training scene on the glacier, and a French resort town at the base make this both an athletic and cultural experience.
Tuition includes lodging, food (except airport/travel meals), lift tickets, afternoon activities & coaching.
Michael will reach out to coordinate flights once you are signed up for the camp. We ask that athletes fly on the same flights as the coaches in and out of Boston. Please do not book a flight until you have spoken with Michael.
Open to YOB 2012, 2013, 2014. Athletes with YOB 2015 must travel with a guardian.
