Canadian Sarah Bennet finished with a total time of 2:32.97 to win the final women’s GS in Panorama, 0.90 seconds ahead of American Allie Resnick. Bennett was the only Canadian in the top 10 today, it was also her first NorAm podium.
Resnick was also the top American in the first GS yesterday, finishing in second both days. Ava Jemison finished in ninth and Nellie Talbot in 10th.
This race concludes the women’s GS races in Panorama. The women will switch to slalom tomorrow.

After not getting a single man on the podium yesterday, the Canadians swept at the men’s slalom podium today. Asher Jordan finished in first by 1.51 seconds, with Sam Mulligan and Justin Alkier rounding out the podium in second and third.
Jacob Dilling was the top American athlete, finishing in fifth place. He said, “The snow was hard but a little rough there’s quite a bit of chatter and it was a fight to get down the course and I made quite a few mistakes but was charging. Nobody I talked to felt great, you had to leave your mistakes behind you and continue to push as hard as you could, regardless of the bad feelings. The conditions were really tough but I’ve learned that you can’t control the conditions, you have to be able to adapt to any situation.”
The men will race GS tomorrow and Saturday.
