HEAD 2024 Organizes Gear Testing for New Race Skis and Boots in Vail and Mt. Hood

HEAD is excited to unveil the latest race skis and boots for the coming 2024/25 season. Building on a stellar performance in the 2023/24 season, HEAD reaffirms its dominance in the Alpine Ski World Cup. Lara Gut-Behrami’s outstanding performance secured the coveted Crystal Globe for the overall World Cup title. In addition, the Swiss athlete claimed two more Crystal Globes in the giant slalom and super-G events. Adding to the glory, Cornelia Hütter from Austria claimed the downhill Crystal Globe. In total, the HEAD World Cup Rebels proudly attained the top step of the podium a remarkable 17 times this season, with an also impressive tally of 22 second-place finishes and 17 third-place finishes. 

The 2024/25 World Cup Rebels racing equipment collection is currently available for athletes to test. Notable product updates are as follows:

• NEW SIZESPLITS FOR 24/25 Junior Race skis:
  o WCR e.GS Rebel Team- Redesigned with new construction, new sizes, new shapes
  o WCR e.SL Rebel Team- Redesigned with new construction, new sizes, new shapes

• All WCR e-SL Rebel- NEW “Speed Blue” Colored P-Tex 2000 HC Bases

COLORADO: Ski and Snowboard Club Vail Technical Services

Vail, CO Dates: May 1st-June 15th, 2024

Again this year, HEAD is excited to partner with Ski and Snowboard Club Vail Tune Shop to provide all models of HEAD Race skis for athletes to test while training in Colorado. Testing is not limited to SSCV athletes and is available to anyone training at any venue in Colorado with a camp, academy, or club. HEAD race equipment will be available to test for all age groups and disciplines.

• All reservations for test skis MUST be made through your athlete’s coach. Coordinate with the athlete’s contact coach to determine the following details: ski model, size and dates requested.

MT. HOOD: Mt. Hood Alpine Racing Center

Government Camp, OR Dates: June 15th-30th, 2024

HEAD is pleased to continue its multi-year partnership with Mt. Hood Alpine Racing Center and its owner Bob Olsen. Athletes will find a complete fleet of HEAD racing equipment available to test.
