In the nick of time, US Ski & Snowboard announces Soelden broadcast option
On Friday evening, just hours before the races were set to begin, U.S. Ski & Snowboard announced a broadcast plan for the Soelden opening events. It had been previously stated that NBC Sports did not have rights to the event. The announcement comes to the delight of U.S. fans who hadn’t previously had an option for watching the races.
“The FIS Ski World Cup kickoff is now available to view in the United States,” U.S. Ski & Snowboard announced. “Tune in this Saturday and Sunday as we kick off the season at the Rettenbach glacier in Soelden, Austria with women’s and men’s giant slalom races.”
