The canceled speed races scheduled in Kvitfjell, Norway on March 6-7 have been rescheduled to Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria on the same dates. Additionally, Saalbach-Hinterglemm will also host the cancelled downhill from Wengen on Friday, March 5.

The new program for Saalbach-Hinteglemm is as follows:

Wednesday, March 3: Downhill Training 1
Thursday, March 4: Downhill Training 2
Friday, March 5: Downhill (former Wengen)
Saturday, March 6: Downhill (former Kvitfjell)
Sunday, March 7: Super-G (former Kvitfjell)

  1. I am a bit confused about the indication that one of the Saalbach DH’s is a replacement for Wengen DH as one of the DH’s @ Kitzbuehel was described the same way. Were two DH’s originally scheduled for Wengen given that both Lake Louise and Beaver Creek were cancelled with only one made up @ Val D’Isere? Regardless, happy to see the DH at Saalbach! Super fast & tough DH!
