Italian ski brand Nordica announced on Wednesday (April 7) that German ace Felix Neureuther has extended his contract with the sponsor for four years, through the next Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea in 2018. Although it was rumored he also tested Head equipment, Neureuther ultimately settled on furthering the commitment with his existing sponsor.

“I am pleased that I will have in the next four years for me the best skis and boots for me in order to build on the good results of the past season. Nordica and I just fit together perfectly,” the nine-time World Cup winner said.

Neureuther moved off of Atomic in 2011 when he first signed a three-year contract with Nordica leading into the Sochi Olympic Games. He had 10 World Cup podiums prior to the move to Nordica and has since amassed a total of 29.
