Who is racing, when are they racing, and how to watch the Palisades Tahoe GS
Due to a massive storm, it will take a miracle to execute the February 25th GS. The FIS and the Palisades’ race crew have been working endlessly for days. However, FIS personnel report they will continue to work with the intent to race tomorrow at 11:00 am Pacific time. If there is a GS tomorrow consider these hard-working warriors magicians. However, before you bet against them know they are more than determined.
Nine North Americans will race the Palisades Tahoe GS
North American teams have entered seven skiers. Stifel US Alpine Team has entered two and also three independents and Alpine Canada Aplin has entered two. Uniquely, the Stifel US Alpine Team continues to offer World Cup opportunities to deserving US independents. Three of the five US athletes scheduled to compete in the GS are former members of the US Ski Team now skiing with US coach Paul Epstein’s independent Global Racing.
