RCS fastest in Val Gardena training
Ryan Cochran-Siegle clocked the fastest time on course in the downhill training run today in Val Gardena. The only athlete to come within a second of RCS was Italian Felix Monsen, who was 0.9 seconds out. RCS was not the only American with a fast training run; Travis Ganong finished in fifth, 1.42 seconds out.
RCS has never won a World Cup downhill run. Tomorrow will be another day of training and another opportunity for the athletes to get more comfortable on the track before the races begin.
In the meantime, the U.S. Ski Team is appreciating all that Val Gardena has to offer, including the views.
