SYNC Performance is seeking a creative, organized, and passionate Social Media Marketing Coordinator to support the planning, creation, and execution of the brand’s social media and digital marketing efforts. This part-time remote role is ideal for someone who understands storytelling, content creation, and community building within the ski racing and outdoor sports space.

Position Overview

The Social Media Marketing Coordinator will help grow brand awareness, strengthen community engagement, and support product launches and marketing campaigns across SYNC’s digital channels. Working closely with the Senior Digital Content Manager and broader SYNC team, this individual will help execute content calendars, support campaign development, analyze performance, and ensure consistency across all social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management & Execution

  • Support day-to-day management of SYNC’s social channels, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging platforms
  • Schedule and publish content aligned with brand objectives and campaign calendars
  • Write social copy, captions, and campaign messaging
  • Monitor community engagement and respond to messages and comments
  • Optimize content distribution for each platform

Content Coordination & Campaign Support

  • Assist in planning and executing product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
  • Coordinate content needs with athletes, ambassadors, and internal team members
  • Organize and repurpose photo and video assets
  • Support short-form video creation, UGC initiatives, and campaign storytelling
  • Identify opportunities to leverage trends, collaborations, and emerging content formats

Performance & Growth

  • Track social performance metrics and assist with reporting
  • Support testing and optimization of content formats and posting strategies
  • Contribute ideas to increase reach, engagement, and brand awareness
  • Assist with athlete ambassador outreach and partnership coordination

Brand & Marketing Support

  • Ensure content aligns with SYNC’s brand voice and creative standards
  • Contribute to content planning and campaign brainstorming
  • Support special projects related to community growth and digital marketing initiatives

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media, content marketing, digital marketing, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and current content trends
  • Experience creating or coordinating social content, particularly short-form video
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for sport and outdoor culture; ski racing experience or involvement is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with tools such as Meta Business Suite, Later, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms is a plus

Employment Details

  • Position: Part-Time
  • Location: Remote
  • Compensation: $15,000–$20,000 annually, based on experience and scope
  • Reports To: Senior Digital Content Manager
