Twelve Stifel U.S. Ski Team athletes head to the 2026 World Cup Finals in Lillehammer as Shiffrin, Aicher and McGrath lead the Crystal Globe races.
Lindsey Vonn dominates the Zauchensee Downhill, showcasing unmatched precision, speed, and control. With two Americans on the podium and strong performances across Europe, the women’s speed circuit delivered excitement, teamwork, and emerging talent.
Cornelia Huetter of Austria dominated the Val d’Isère downhill, taking the win with a near two-second advantage. Kira Weidle Winkelmann and Lindsey Vonn completed the podium while North Americans showed depth with strong top 30 performances, including Breezy Johnson in seventh and Valérie Grenier 23rd.

US racers closed the South American Cup speed finals in Corralco with strong results, as Tricia Mangan earned a Super-G win, Allison Mollin scored multiple podiums, and independent World Cup skier Wiley Maple captured a Super-G victory. The performances capped a productive training block in Chile and gave the Americans valuable momentum heading into the World Cup season and Olympic year.
All super-G races at NorAm Finals were canceled due to unfavorable conditions. Allison Mollin and Kyle Alexander secured NorAm Cup SG titles.
The Toyota US Alpine Championships presented by Stifel was welcomed back to Sun Valley, Idaho for the second consecutive year. The event started with two men and women super-G days, the first day was a standard FIS race and the second was a part of the National Championships.
The 2024 FIS Alpine Junior World Ski Championships opened on January 30 with the men’s and women’s downhill races, held in Châtel, one of 12 resorts in Portes du Soleil, France. While the weather has been warm and sunny at the lower elevations, Châtel features north-facing slopes at the end of a valley, so the track stayed cold and hard for the speed events.
