Camille Rast claimed a stunning victory at the Flachau Night Slalom, rising seven positions from her first run to secure her second career win. The Swiss skier held off teammate Wendy Holdener, who finished 0.26 seconds back in second, and Sweden’s Sara Hector in third. Katharina Liensberger, the fastest from the first run, couldn’t deliver under immense pressure, finishing fourth to the disappointment of the Austrian crowd. With the win, Rast reclaimed the lead in the slalom standings, making it a night to remember for Switzerland.

Seven skiers with bibs above 30, including Italy’s Marta Rossetti and Japan’s Asa Ando, also advanced, setting the stage for an exciting second run.
