The Stifel U.S. Ski Team has named its first athletes to the Milano–Cortina 2026 Olympic team, led by Mikaela Shiffrin, Lindsey Vonn, and Ryan Cochran-Siegle, with the Olympic alpine program opening February 7 in Bormio.
Marco Schwarz captured his first career World Cup super-G victory as Livigno hosted its first Alpine World Cup race. Swiss skiers packed the top of the results, Austria’s top-ranked speed racers struggled, and an unusually tight race saw 11 high-bib athletes score points.
Norwegian Felix McGrath, son of former U.S. Ski Team member Felix McGrath Sr., took the course wearing bib eight. Delivering a composed and technically brilliant run, McGrath crossed the finish line in third place, 1.01 seconds behind Tumler and 0.65 behind Kranjec, keeping the competition tight heading into the final run.
