Quebec hosted four men’s Nor-Am Cup races as Bradshaw Underhill earned his first career victory, Apex2100 earned 1-2 the slalom podium, and Johs Braathen Herland dominated giant slalom in Tremblant.
Alice Robinson set the pace again in Tremblant, with Julia Scheib close behind and both Nina O’Brien and Mikaela Shiffrin delivering strong opening runs. Canada’s Britt Richardson added to the excitement as six skiers finished within a second of the lead, setting up a dramatic second run.
Despite comprehensive planning and a well-orchestrated snowmaking plan relying on a world class system, the temperatures of the last few days needed to be colder to create the snow coverage required for the PwC Tremblant World Cup scheduled for December 7 and 8, 2024. These circumstances have led the organizers to decide to cancel this edition.
Over last week, from December 13th to the 16th, the women competed in an exciting NorAm in Mont-Tremblant, Canada. It was four days of tech events with two slalom and two giant slalom races.
