Breezy Johnson, Ryan Cochran-Siegle and Bryce Bennett reflect on life in front of the cameras after a season that included World Cup battles, Olympic pressure and career-defining moments.

PARK CITY, Utah — The races are over, but the stories behind one of alpine skiing’s most ambitious documentary projects are still being told.

Team USA released a special after-show episode for On The Edge: World Cup Ski Racing on Tuesday, giving fans a deeper look at the athletes and filmmakers behind the acclaimed ESPN Original Series that followed elite alpine skiers through the 2025-26 World Cup season and the Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games.

The after-show premiered on Olympic and Paralympic Day and features extended conversations with several members of the Stifel U.S. Ski Team whose journeys were chronicled throughout the series.

Olympic downhill champion Breezy Johnson, two-time Olympic super-G silver medalist Ryan Cochran-Siegle and two-time World Cup winner Bryce Bennett are among the athletes featured. The trio reflects on the unique experience of allowing cameras into their lives during a season filled with the highs and lows that come with competing at the highest level of the sport.

Looking beyond the finish line

For many viewers, On The Edge provided an unprecedented look inside a sport often defined by results sheets, podiums and fractions of a second. The series followed athletes through travel, training, setbacks, victories and Olympic preparation, revealing the personal side of a pursuit that demands constant commitment and resilience.

The new after-show expands on those stories.

Hosted by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Pat Dimon, who directed the original series, the episode combines athlete interviews with additional footage from both the Olympics and the documentary production process. The conversations explore what it was like to have defining moments captured on camera and why sharing those experiences mattered to the athletes involved.

The program also offers insight into the challenges of documenting one of the world’s fastest sports, providing viewers with a closer look at the work required to bring alpine ski racing’s biggest stories to the screen.

On The Edge: World Cup Ski Racing was directed by Dimon and produced by Bright North USA and the International Ski & Snowboard Federation in partnership with the Stifel U.S. Ski Team and Team USA.

How to watch
