Twenty years ago, Picabo Street surprised herself by winning the super-G in the 1998 Olympic Winter Games in Nagano, Japan. These days, she is living in Park City, Utah, raising a family and staying involved in the sport through her academy.

In this episode of The Inside Line, Gabbi Hall relives Street’s experience in Japan as well as gets her perspective on racing in Asia and the cost of the sport for junior athletes. The Sun Valley native openly shares insights into what life on the road was like, and what she believe makes Lindsey Vonn so special.
