USST athlete Jackie Wiles is headed into surgery after a crash in the Val D’Isere super G left her with a broken clavicle. Wiles personally provided an update on her Instagram page early this morning. She is expected to return back to the World Cup soon.
“Heading into surgery this morning. Exciting weekend finally getting back into the downhill points. Unfortunately got a bit too sendy Sunday in the Super G and took a spill. Ready to get this broken clavicle fixed and back on the snow! Physically down for the moment, but not out!!”
