Who is racing and how to watch

The speed addicts of the women’s World Cup will begin their season tomorrow in Lake Louise. “The Lake” has kickstarted many successful alpine racing careers.

The US has five exciting women skiers and the Canadians have two entered to race in the December 2nd downhill. The women’s downhill starts at 2:00 pm Eastern Time, 11:00 am on the West Coast.

Four US and two Canadians are on the start list

  • Bib 22, Bella Wright, USST, Team Palisades Tahoe, Rossignol/Look
  • Bib 43, Stefanie Fleckenstein, Independent, Whistler Mountain Ski Club, Rossignol/LOOK
  • Bib 44, Trish Mangan, independent, HoliMont Snowsports, HEAD, Swix, ASP
  • Bib 45, Lauren Macuga, USST, Park City Ski and Snowboard, Rossignol/Look, Swix

This weekend will likely be the last time the women race in Lake Louise for the foreseeable future.

In the United States, the Lake Louise events can be viewed live and replayed at Ski and Snowboard Live.
