The 2025 Women’s World Cup Finals in Sun Valley, Idaho, will showcase the top 26 skiers in downhill and 25 in super G as they battle for one last victory. After months of high-speed racing on some of the world’s most challenging courses, the standings are finalized, and the field is packed with season leaders, veteran champions, and rising stars.

Top 26 Ranked Women Qualify for the World Cup Downhill Finals

The top 25 skiers in the women’s downhill season standings have secured their spots for the World Cup Finals in Sun Valley, Idaho. Due to a tie for 25th place, 26 skiers have qualified. These athletes earned their spots based on their consistent performances throughout the season, accumulating enough points to compete in the final race. Italy’s Federica Brignone leads the standings with 384 points, holding off Austria’s Cornelia Huetter, who trails by 16 points, and fellow Italian Sofia Goggia, who is 34 points back.

Brignone, Huetter, and Goggia are the only three skiers still in contention for the season-long downhill title, making the Sun Valley race a dramatic final showdown for the globe.


Several nations will send multiple skiers, showcasing their depth in the discipline. Italy leads the way with six representatives, followed by Austria with five. Switzerland and the United States each qualified four athletes, while Germany and Norway secured two spots apiece. Slovenia, France, and the Czech Republic will each send one competitor.

Top 25 Women Qualify for the World Cup Finals in Super G

The top 25 skiers in the women’s super G season standings have secured their spots for the World Cup Finals in Sun Valley, Idaho. Italy’s Federica Brignone leads the rankings with 570 points, just five points ahead of Switzerland’s Lara Gut-Behrami. Sofia Goggia, also of Italy, sits in third, trailing by 104 points.

Brignone and Gut-Behrami are the only two skiers still in contention for the season-long super G title, setting up an intense final race in Sun Valley.
