For ski teams, a uniform is more than a jacket or race suit. It is part of what makes a group feel like a team.

There is something pretty special about pulling into the hill and seeing your teammates in the same colors. It is a way to show up together, represent the club you are proud to be part of and feel connected to the people skiing alongside you. Team gear becomes part of the experience, from training days to race-day photos and all the memories in between.

But getting everyone into that gear does not always happen on a perfect calendar.

The traditional ski industry timeline can require clubs to commit in December, January or February for gear they will not receive until the following September. That works when rosters, budgets and plans come together early. But teams change. New athletes join. Programs grow. Sometimes a supplier falls through or a club simply realizes it needs more gear later in the year.

Missing the conventional order window does not have to mean waiting another season.

SYNC’s year-round team uniform program gives clubs more flexibility to get athletes into team gear when they need it, whether families order individually or the club places a bulk order.

And while solving a late-season uniform need might be what brings a club to SYNC, the goal is bigger than getting gear out the door. It is about supporting teams as they grow and helping athletes feel like they are part of something.

Two Ways for Teams to Order

With a SYNC team store, families choose their sizes, place their own orders and pay directly. Individual orders are fulfilled within four to six weeks and delivered directly to the customer.

Because team uniform items are made to order from available inventory, stores can stay open year-round. If a new athlete joins in November, their family can order a jacket then instead of waiting for the next season.

Clubs can also place a traditional bulk order across SYNC’s full product line, with minimums as low as six units, and distribute the gear to their athletes.

Whichever option works best, inventory is first come, first served. Clubs that need gear this season should contact SYNC to check availability and delivery timing.

Support That Takes Work Off Coaches’ Plates

Being part of a team should be about skiing, training and spending time with your teammates, not chasing down apparel orders.

Katie Gilligan, vice president of SYNC Custom, says service is one of the program’s clearest differentiators. SYNC handles questions about sizing, individual orders, exchanges and product issues directly with families, taking that work off coaches and administrators.

“Their time should be spent supporting athletes and building their programs, not tracking payments or troubleshooting apparel orders,” Gilligan said.

More Than Team Gear

New this season, SYNC’s Family & Fan Shop gives club families pro-like pricing across the broader SYNC catalog, with or without the team logo.

The core team store keeps required uniform pieces easy to find, while the Family & Fan Shop gives athletes, parents and supporters a place to pick up additional SYNC gear.

Because being part of a ski team does not stop at the required uniform. There are the extra layers, favorite training pieces and gear you end up wearing long after the season is over.

A Partner Beyond the First Order

The first order is just the start.

As a club grows, its needs change. More athletes join, programs expand and families need additional gear. SYNC can help teams adjust along the way, whether that means individual team-store orders, bulk purchasing or additional gear through the Family & Fan Shop.

“The initial order should be the beginning of the relationship, not the end of it,” said Drew Roberts, SYNC’s sales manager. “We can help the club review what worked, plan for future seasons and adjust the program as the team grows or its needs change.”

Options for Canadian and International Teams

SYNC Custom works with ski programs across North America, including Canadian teams. For Canadian and other international programs, ordering by July 1 is ideal because it allows products to ship directly from the factory without import costs.

Teams that miss the July 1 window may still be able to order based on available inventory. Products shipped from the United States may be subject to applicable duties and taxes.

Whether you are outfitting a whole roster, welcoming new athletes or looking for a simpler way to manage team gear, SYNC Custom can help you find an option that works for your program.

Because a team uniform should do more than identify who you ski for. It should make athletes feel like they belong there.
