Breezy Johnson, a Stifel US Alpine Team member, is one of the world’s best downhill skiers. In an Instagram post on Monday, Johnson publicly came out as bisexual.

In her post, she wrote:

To those ????️‍???? people out there who feel a little different and want to see people like them at the top I am here to represent that we are out there, we are normal, and we can do whatever we want.

Breezy, you are brave, strong and a role model for people of all generations, backgrounds and identities. Keep being you, skiing fast, and most of all, thank you for letting your fans know you better and helping to pave the way to making ski racing a more LGBTQ+ inclusive space.

With this announcement, Breezy Johnson has joined former U.S. National Team athlete and Team America Member Hig Roberts as an openly LGBTQ+ elite American ski racer.

To the trolls who want to hate, hate doesn’t beat love.
