Due to heavy winds, FIS and the local organizing committee first decided to lower the start of the men’s slalom in Val d’Isere. Then the start was postponed. Start delays were initiated three times prior to the committee making a decision to call Saturday’s scheduled slalom entirely due to weather.

After a discussion with the organizing, the French Ski Federation, and Infront, the jury proceeded to reschedule the slalom for Sunday, December 15th, pushing the previously scheduled giant slalom out of the program. A new date for the scheduled GS will be communicated as soon as FIS can confirm a new date and location for the race.

As of Saturday morning, the start time for the first run of slalom is 9:30 am, and the second run is 12:30 am Central European Time.
