Sofia Goggia: GEPA Photos
During the 2022-23 season, Italy’s 30-year-old Sofia Goggia once again revealed herself among the most courageous. Not only does she keep fans at the edge of their seats by pushing the limits she was able to win the day after having hand surgery.
If Goggia sees any way to be faster, even if it requires significant risk, she will take the gamble. Her favorite saying is “Only the brave.”
Even though Goggia set a personal best for wins in a single season it was obvious she was not satisfied. Expect her to spend the prep period doing everything possible to be even more dominant.
