The Stifel U.S. Ski Team has finalized its U.S. men’s Olympic alpine roster, naming a six-man group that blends World Cup winners, a proven podium finisher, elite speed specialists, and the program’s youngest rising star. The roster reflects depth across downhill, super-G, and giant slalom, with athletes selected on performance, consistency, and readiness for championship pressure.

Two athletes on the roster—Ryan Cochran-Siegle, the defending Olympic super-G silver medalist and a World Cup super-G winner on the Bormio Olympic slope, and Bryce Bennett—bring World Cup victory experience, while River Radamus has also earned the podium. The rest of the team adds significant depth, bringing World Cup top-10 and top-15 finishes, Junior World titles, NorAm success, and extensive experience on some of the sport’s most demanding terrain.

With every discipline run on one course, versatility, recovery, and confidence on aggressive terrain will be decisive.

Championship Résumé

Radamus is a World Champion in the team event (2023), a three-time Youth Olympic Games gold medalist, and a two-time Junior World Champion in giant slalom and super-G. He finished fourth in giant slalom at the Beijing 2022 Olympics, just off the podium.

World Cup Podium

During the 2024 season, Radamus earned his first World Cup podium, finishing third in giant slalom on home snow at Palisades Tahoe. He followed that breakthrough with continued consistency across GS and super-G, reinforcing his role as the backbone of the U.S. technical group.

Olympic Pedigree and World Cup Wins

Cochran-Siegle is the most decorated Olympic performer on the roster. He earned super-G silver at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games, the only U.S. alpine medal from those Games. At the World Cup level, he owns multiple podiums and a super-G victory in Bormio during the 2021 season, a key reference point with Olympic racing returning to the same venue.

Leadership and Versatility

A steady presence across downhill and super-G, Cochran-Siegle combines clean execution with fearless commitment on the sport’s most technical speed tracks. Entering another Olympic cycle, he brings medal-winning experience and leadership to the team.

Career Progression

His best World Cup downhill result came this season with an 11th-place finish in the Val Gardena/Gröden sprint downhill. His career-best super-G was 12th at Kvitfjell in 2024, and he added a season-best 16th in super-G at Wengen.

Junior World Champion

Sarchett is the 2024 Junior World giant slalom champion, winning gold in St. Jean d’Aulps, France, showing his ability to peak in championship settings.

Collegiate and World Cup Balance

The only athlete on the roster to compete collegiately, Sarchett raced for the University of Colorado, pairing NCAA success with rapid World Cup progression as he steps onto the Olympic stage.

Olympic Season Momentum

This season, Morse re-entered the Olympic conversation with a 15th-place finish in the Wengen World Cup super-G (January 16, 2026), one of the most demanding races on the calendar.

A Pure Downhill Specialist

Standing 6-foot-7, Bennett is one of the tallest athletes on the World Cup circuit and a specialist built for glide and top-end speed. Developed at Palisades Tahoe, he joined the U.S. Ski Team in 2011 and has remained a fixture on the men’s speed tour for more than a decade.

World Cup Wins and Historical Context

Bennett is a two-time World Cup downhill winner, both victories coming on the iconic Val Gardena/Gröden Saslong. His most recent win, during the 2024 season, came charging from bib 34 and was followed by another podium two days later. He remains the most recent American man to win a World Cup alpine race.

Olympic Record

Bennett competed at PyeongChang 2018 and Beijing 2022, with a best Olympic finish of 16th in the PyeongChang downhill.

Slalom Context

The U.S. did not name a dedicated slalom specialist to the men’s Olympic alpine team. River Radamus has scored World Cup points twice in slalom, and Ryder Sarchett earned Second-Team All-America honors in slalom during his collegiate season at Colorado.
