Dartmouth’s depth and Jayden Buckrell’s weekend sweep highlighted a thrilling opening to the EISA carnival season at Sugarloaf. With multiple first-time podiums, dominant performances, and tight team battles, the Colby Carnival set the tone for a highly competitive winter ahead.
The USCSA concluded the Collegiate National Championship this is the recap of the competitions that took place Wednesday and Thursday.
RMISA competed GS in University of Alaska Anchorage Invitational and RMISA Champs. Magdalena Luczak was the standout performance of the two days, achieving back-to-back victories. Her teammates, Jacob Dilling and Louis Gistav Fausa, also secured individual wins.
The RMISA alpine ski racing competitions resumed for the Montana State University Invitational at Bridger Bowl, Montana. Four different winners emerged from the giant slalom and slalom races.
The United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association (USCSA) held its third week of Alpine competition with races in the Midwest, Mideast, Southwest, Southeast, Grand Teton, Atlantic Highlands, Rocky Mountain, and Eastern Regions.
The EISA circuit continued this week with the Saint Lawrence Carnival. Bradshaw Underhill achieved two victories for Middlebury College. The collegiate season kicked off yesterday with an RMISA Qualifier slalom event held on the course in Loveland, Colorado. Both University of Denver and University of Colorado athletes earned a spot on the top of the podium. Sara Rask (DU) won against the women’s field, and Filip Wahlqvist (CU) achieved victory for the men.

The U.S. Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA) concluded the week of competition for its Collegiate National Championships Saturday with the men’s and women’s Dual Alpine Slalom, men’s and women’s Snowboard Alpine GIant Slalom, and the Nordic Freestyle Team Relay.
Week 5 results include races held on Feb 9-11, which marked the conclusion of the regular season races for numerous conferences and divisions.
Recap: Last weekend the men and women of the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association (RMISA) competed in Big Sky Resort, Montana, in the RMISA Alpine Qualifiers and the RMISA Championships. It was an intense battle for the athletes as it marked the final events before NCAA Championships. As a team, the CU Buffs came out on top of the 75th Annual RMISA Championships.
The EISA Championships began on Friday with the slalom at the Middlebury College Snow Bowl. The pressure was high with athletes looking to lock up spots in the NCAA Championships.
