Ski Racing Media, in conjunction with Daron Rahlves and WEND Waxworks, is pleased to present an instructional series, “Ski Tips with Daron Rahlves.” In this weekly video series, which will run throughout the winter season, the ski racing legend will discuss any and all topics related to alpine ski racing. From tactics on the hill, to conditioning and ski prep, Rahlves will share the trade secrets that made him one of the best in the world.

  2. Fantastic to hear ski racing ideas from Daron, one of the best ever in the world !!!
    It seems like when great ski racers around the world retire, 99% of the time we never
    get to hear from them again, so we do not get to learn from there mental knowledge.
    I was happy to be at the bottom of the Abyss, on the Talon Crew, when Daron won Beaver Creek.
    Marcel Hirscher told Todd Booker in his pre-super G interview at Beaver Creek (which he won) that his top priority
    was to “manage my fears” — that amazed me because I thought for sure Hirscher had no fear.
    Daron you must be the master of fear, how do you manage it ???
