Vlhova and Zenhaeusern provided new Ski Servicemen

Two big names have announced that they will have new ski servicemen this season. It is clear that Rossignol/Look is ready to invest in the future of both star athletes.

Petra Vlhova’s new ski serviceman

Petra Vlhova is one of them. The Slovakian is a loyal Rossignol/Look athlete and has an impressive resume. She has accumulated 26 World Cup victories and a total of 57 podiums. Her performance has led to her winning the 2021 overall globe as well as the slalom globe in 2020 and 2022. 

Vlhova will be working with ski serviceman Brice Bottollier this upcoming season. Previously the “head of materials” for two French downhillers, Bottolier serviced Italian, Federica Brignone’s equipment during the Beijing Olympic Games GS. He provided her ski service in Beijing because her technician was unable to work due to health issues. Bottolier’s contributions seemingly paid off as Brignone left China a silver medalist.

Zenhaeusern benefits from Kristoffersen’s departure

After roughly seven years with ski serviceman Willhelm Breitenberger, The 6 ft 8 inch Swiss skier Ramon Zenhaeusern has decided to go a different direction. Frenchman Philippe Petitjean, Kristofferson’s former ski serviceman, will be supporting Zenhaeusern in the 2022/23 season. 

Rossignol/Look athlete Zenhaeusern earned gold in the team parallel and silver in the slalom at the PyeongChang Olympics. At the World Championships in Are Sweden, he won gold in the Team Parallel. And he has also been on the World Cup podium 11 times including five victories. While most of his success is in Slalom, he has had big moments in City Events and Team Parallel.

Breitenberger will be moving from the slalom specialist side to work with two Canadian athletes: Trevor Philip and Riley Seger. The ski serviceman says he is looking forward to switching it up from strictly working on slalom skis. 

Skinews.ch quotes Breitenberger saying, “It was a great time with Ramon. But if I’m honest, after seven years with a slalom specialist I’ve gotten a bit tired of slalom. I am now looking forward to working in the speed area with the two Canadians.” Because both athletes are under contract with Rossignol, he can fully deal with the French brand.
