This week, the World Pro Ski Tour and WAVE.tv, “the sports media company for today’s fan,” announced a content agreement that will bring race footage to WAVE.tv’s 250 million viewers.

The agreement provides WAVE.tv with access and rights to leverage World Pro Ski Tour’s archived dual-format professional ski racing footage to develop content that will be shared across WAVE.tv’s portfolio of 18 media brands. The sports media publisher receives 3.2 billion views monthly across its portfolio, on platforms including Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

“WAVE.tv offers a great platform for the Tour, allowing viewers to easily watch World Pro Ski Tour content via easy to access platforms, from Instagram and Snapchat to TikTok, Facebook and more,” says Jon Franklin, CEO of the World Pro Ski Tour. “WAVE.tv is doing incredible things in the world of sports content, and it is great to have the World Pro Ski Tour added to their broad-based media mix.”

“We are thrilled to be working with the World Pro Ski Tour to bring this content to the WAVE.tv network across our portfolio of media brands,” said Greg Bobolo, SVP of Strategy and Digital Partnerships, WAVE.tv. “There is a highly engaged fanbase surrounding professional ski racing, and we cannot wait to engage the modern sports fan by developing and distributing programming to showcase this sport and the Tour.”

Through a portfolio of media brands, covering a wide array of fandoms and genres, WAVE.tv entertains modern day sports fans with programming produced for the digital platforms where they spend the most time, says the company.

Its programming can be discovered across Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and other core and emerging platforms. Each month, WAVE.tv’s entire portfolio reaches 60 million followers and subscribers (largely Gen-Z and Millennials) with a unique reach of 200 million and generating over 3 billion video views.
